LOTUS is an
old wooden ketch which I rebuilt and fitted out for a
trip out into the Pacific Ocean. I worked at it from 1994
till 2003. Then I sailed around the Danish waters for a few years and discovered that the wife was not so keen and that I myself had gotten ten years older, AND that our little Tibetan Terrier dog, Thaye, did NOT like to be on the ship at all. Some
years ago we were on a plane-trip to Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga,
and if you're looking for BountyLand, that's where it is, and
that's where people should be going in a ship like the Lotus.
Yes, we called our ship the Lotus
because she always floats and carries in her the Jewel of all
Jewels. For aren't we all Buddhas ?
Now we have finally take the logical step and sold the boat.
May she safely carry her new owners to where-ever they want.
